Before we even had a University campus building at Markham, we were planning how we might build partnerships together, with the advice of an incredible team of artists and Indigenous leaders, professors, students, and guests. We began this work with an event at the Royal Ontario Museum entitled “Art, Tech, Education and Listening to the Land“. The following day, we invited everyone to join us at YSpace in Markham to begin the conversations.
